my mind in constant conversation, contemplating the happenings of the day, wrestling with uneasiness, hurting for the hostages and their loved ones, ruminating about my sadness, madness, inability to understand hate and violence. I heard the deafening silence. lips started forming, first in the quiet of blue. but quiet isn't going to free anyone. so, my conversation became bolder. words kept emerging, "Bring Them Home." and then the voices of those abducted followed, "Bring Me Home." ... "for those who cannot speak, we speak for them."
